Our procedures for reporting copyright infringement and requesting removal of allegedly infringing material.
FilterTested respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines the procedures for reporting copyright infringement and for submitting counter-notifications.
We will respond to valid DMCA takedown notices by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also terminate the accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original DMCA notice. If the original complainant does not file a court action seeking an injunction against the infringing activity within 10 business days, we may restore the removed material at our discretion.
FilterTested maintains a policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. We reserve the right to terminate access to the website for any user who repeatedly infringes the copyrights of others, as determined in our sole discretion.
FilterTested is an independent water filtration research and review publisher. Product images, brand names, and trademarks displayed on our site are the property of their respective owners. We use such materials under fair use and nominative fair use doctrines for purposes of product identification, comparison, and editorial commentary.
